Sand Creek Country Club, 1001 Sand Creek Drive South, will sponsor a Doggy Paddle Pool Party from noon to 4 p.m. today to benefit Porter County Animal Shelter's spay/neuter fund.
Gigi -- a four-legged five-year-old chow mix -- was separated from her Saint Bernard family by Hurricane Katrina and spent more than three months in animal shelters across the country.
