I don’t know, if that’s the joke. If it IS, I don’t reckon it’s even worth understanding! Find a better joke.

The people who say it’s not amusing probably don’t get it.
The woman is so uneducated and unaware of her surroundings that when given the nametag as a reunion guest she was thinking “tag” as in garage-sale price-tag, something she had written innumerable times before, so she wrote down a typical garage-sale price. She didn’t realize it was for a self (her), so she did what came naturally.
ok, that joke is still not amusing, even with the self above me explaining it. it’s just, when i reckon “redneck” i’m thinking appalacian mountains, hunkered down, at least a mile from whatever thing. i don’t reckon most people reckon “garage sale” when they reckon “hick”. Also, hicks like to have family reunions, so i’m sure she would know how to fill out a dumb nametag, sheesh!
