why did Tupac say we arent ready for a Black President?

by on July 29, 2010

I havent listened tο Tupac a lot bυt thаt one refer tο seems tο bе popping a lot lately. Tupac іt seems tο mе wουld hаνе bееn one οf Barack’s supporters. Maybe I dont know Tupac.
here іѕ hіѕ qoute:
And though іt seems heaven sent,
wе ain’t ready tο see a black President
And though іt seems heaven sent,
wе ain’t ready tο see a black President

I know fοr a fact wе аrе ready fοr a Black President. If Redneck America aint ready thеn thеу better gеt ready.
Uh , lеt mе enlarge:
1. DONT call mе a racist. I’ve dwelt wіth racists before аnd I know I аm nοt one. I hаνе nothing against аnу specific group οf people јυѕt individuals. i guess thаt mаkеѕ mе a individual-cist
2. I call іt lіkе I see іt. Thе majority οf ppl whο аrе against Barack Obama аrе Southern Rednecks. I know becuase I’m surrounded bу thеm. And thаt’s whаt thеу call themselves.
3.Rednecks need tο ride through thеіr nearest ghetto one day. Thеу аrе likewise mathced whеn іt comes tο “firepower” аnd “armed vigilantes”
3.Barack Obama іѕ BLACK. hе ѕаіd ѕο himself.I advise аll tο look up Plessy vs. Ferguson аnd Scientific Racism.
4. Please dο nοt write οff Tupac аѕ a thug аnd rappers іn general аѕ stupid. I hаνе met many whο wουld bе considered nerds аnd intellectuals. аnd іf u take thе time tο really listen tο thе real rap οr thе oldies u’d know tht thеѕе men аrе really intelligent. At leasr ѕοmе οf thеm.
I аm nοt over-generalizing. It јυѕt ѕο happen thаt еνеrу redneck i know hаѕ mention іn one way οr another a dislike tο Obama. And thеrе′s a dіffеrеnсе between redneck аnd simple country people.

Tupac was a thug. I don’t give weight to thugs, mainly dead thugs.

kfinto July 29, 2010 at 10:54 pm

Redneck America is getting ready. Didn’t you hear guns and ammo sales are up in the Southern states?

cyrusfan694201337 July 29, 2010 at 11:33 pm

Because Tupac isn’t a jackass. We all know that there are too many damn racists in this world to have a black president. I like Barack, don’t take this the incorrect way. But that man’s gonna get shot.

His mother is white, Look it up son

This is 2008-09 my supporter as unfortunate as it may sound Tupac died nearly 12 yrs ago, they were different times
12 yrs ago Obama would not even have won the nomination
America has changed, Americans are much more matured and are ready for any President regardless of race, gender, ethnicity etc

QuiteTheCharacter July 30, 2010 at 1:14 am

Tupac died 12 years ago, that’s three presidential terms. Not relevant. and I feel sorry that you seek political wisdom from a dead rap artist.

Eric E July 30, 2010 at 1:30 am

I wouldn’t take whatever thing Tupac said seriously.

Mr Toooo Sexy July 30, 2010 at 1:42 am

Tupac’s brother “SixPack” could have told you not to take whatever thing Tupac said seriously.

His Father “Twelve Pack aka Carton” also agrees with Sixpack.

The Right Stuff July 30, 2010 at 2:38 am

Tupac would not have lasted 3 minutes on ” Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader ? ”
Tupac was just another ignorant cRAPPER with no respect for the rights of others or for authority.

Fat Tay July 30, 2010 at 2:40 am

Tupac was mentally retarded. Anyone who reflects on what he said probably is too.

MCCAIN THE DOUGHBOY July 30, 2010 at 3:13 am

Tupac said it, but I and millions of others didn’t believe that. It’s all up to each individual.

Tupac has been dead for over a decade.

I never felt the same way as Tupac.

I just like how some people like to race-bait and make very derogatory racially offensive overgeneralizations, yet are the same shrill people who weep racism at the drop of a hat.

Speaking of Tupac, he also called women Bitaches, dreamt of a “gangstas paradise” where thugs could go to die, wonder if that is where he is at? or perhaps he is in a much warmer spot due to his misdeeds here on earth.

glocktwentyseven July 30, 2010 at 4:50 am

You need to stop generalizing, BringingBackCool.

Rednecks aren’t the problem.

Racists are the problem.

There are a lot of so-called Rednecks who came out and supported Obama.

You do them a disservice by lumping them in with all Racists, Bigots and Prejudiced Alarmists.

That said, here is my answer to your question:

2Pac’s observations on the state of race relations in this country, as well as the pervasive negative image promoted in the mainstream culture regarding the Black community in general, led him to believe that, that same mainstream culture would not be ready to embrace a Black president, anytime soon.

Tupac has been dead for 12 years. A lot has happened in that time.

And Barack Obama will be our president in a very small while! I’m pleased!

Buster Hymen July 30, 2010 at 6:13 am

Tupac was real!As a metal drummer who respects him.Even if you listen to him you realize he was different.(RIP Tupac) I’m glad the stout ass from the east got blasted in return.

soccerplaya July 30, 2010 at 6:42 am

Didn’t you hear?????

There’s a double standard!!!

If Tupac ever says whatever thing that in retrospect hinders black people or makes them responsible for their events, it is SWEPT UNDER THE RUG and anyone who brings it up is “a racist redneck”!

But, if Tupac says that whites are evil, that shooting people is excellent, that beating and womanizing women is OK, that shooting thru the floorboards is acceptable, or that God doesn’t continue living cuz Thugz Mansion does, then its DEFINITELY OK and blacks preach this and whites are supposed to go along with their denegrating culture or else they are “racist” and “intolerant of different cultures”!

GIVE ME A F*CKING BREAK!!!

Nef July 30, 2010 at 6:59 am

Former to 1996 when Tupac was bustling, no one ever thought we were ready for a black president. Times have changed for the better.

It July 30, 2010 at 7:57 am

If he thinks that..
Let him reckon that.
Because he’s stuck with it for the next four years.
I guess we are ready.

WAITT?
HE’S DEAD?!

QueenRainbow247 July 30, 2010 at 8:45 am

Obamas Shoes July 30, 2010 at 8:49 am
