2Pac’s observations on the state of race relations in this country, as well as the pervasive negative image promoted in the mainstream culture regarding the Black community in general, led him to believe that, that same mainstream culture would not be ready to embrace a Black president, anytime soon.
Tupac has been dead for 12 years. A lot has happened in that time.
And Barack Obama will be our president in a very small while! I’m pleased!
